Help with USB advance

I have a FAT PS2 since the launch date. It still works fine (the laser is going fine as usual).

The reason why I want to use USB Advance is because I only have a 500gb USB HDD and I don't have any network adapter/extra HDD for hd loader. So I just want to try out USB advance before considering going for HD Loader (I was told that HD Loader has better compatibility), but anyway.. that's not the main reason. I just want to load games from an e-HDD so that my laser will be safer.

I used the MC exploit, worked perfectly. Added the USB advance, worked fine.

I just want to know how exactly to run PS2 games from an external hdd. I was told that it needs to be FAT 32 formatted. But what else? Does it need to be an ISO? I just add the PS2 game's ISO to the e-HDD and run it via USB advance?

You can use either USB Extreme Win32 utility or Usb Insane to transfer ISO to your USB drive through the PC.
