First of all, please post the exact names shown in the "OSD" (PS2-Original-Browser/Menu).
You placed your files "Install-Files" on the same mc, where you wanted to install FMCB?
That won't work and it is just logical, that it won't work after a format.

In memry card. i see 4 ICON
SYS.CONF folder
BOOT folder
FREEMCBOOT
Your System COnfiguration
2. Yes.. i am fool. i wanted installed in Same MC cuz i have only one MC.. ;
I realize formatting that "Install files" placed on the same MC is terribly mistake ...
But FMCB is already installed in MC. and I have usb stick.
my ps2 that Fmcb installed can't recognize my usb now.
using my usb.. can i fix my problem?

Yes, SYS-CONF + USB-drivers weren't installed.
Btw.: @JNABK: You can see, that "Your System Configuration" IS a folder created by the PS2.
(...not that it would help in this case, but I propose a micro-loader in later versions, with embedded USB-Drivers and only the useful stuff,...)
Maybe the installer should install embedded USB-Drivers (requested, or not...) and only install external IRXs, if given.

I assume, that there is no way.
Sorry.
But if you can open your PS2-Case, to make a "Disc-time-swap", I can guide you a bit, to install FMCB only with an original PS2-Disc and a prepared ule-disc.

Like I already said,...
You don't have the USB-Drivers installed ("SYS-CONF"-Icon).
You might should read the tutorial, before installing.
If the drivers are installed, the USB-Stick recognized and the RESCUE.ELF in the root of your USB-Device, it starts everytime regardless what the CNF defines, or which button you press.

Yes, i know its created by the PS2, but only if you run a PS2 Game disc.....
I have 2 consoles with poor lens and dont run any discs in them, and theres no Your System Configuration folder on the MC i use in them. So anyone else with a poor lens / dead lens also wont have this folder if they formatted the MC prior to an install as well.

Excuse me for this...but I'm lost in this
A question I'v seen videos showing files of the Free McBoot why in this video the principal file 32,202 KB Free McBoot in a memory of 8 mgs the file I installed have a size of 1,666 kb, how do you do that? in uLauncher I check that all resides in the BAEXEC-SYSTEM folder or tell me were I can find it.

I found a video on youtube, how to make a time-swap.
Just jump to minute 7.
You don't need to cut your PS2-Case.
You only need to swap the disc exactly, as the boy does with Original GH3 vs. Custom GH3.

Check out TnA's latest message and the movie demo link in it.

PM simply means "Private Message", and using such messages mean that two people can discuss something which is then not visible to all other site members, but only to the two people involved.

That's how it works for most people who don't have english as their native language. On the internet we need a common language, and that language is english.

Only practice can improve that, so just keep trying.

@Arucard: Just ignore the post by hagen79, and this post by me, as they have nothing to do with your problem.
@hagen79:
What you just did is a serious breach of 'netiquette' !
When you see a thread where some guy is having serious problems and others are trying to help him solve them, you do NOT break in and steal that thread just to ask a question not related to a similar emergency. You should NEVER do that. Just create a thread of your own to ask such questions.

Since you're already here I might as well answer your question.
When you use a 'Multi-Install' FMCB will install 22 different filenames in B?EXEC-SYSTEM that all 'point' to the same physical file, which is the main FMCB boot file.
When uLaunchELF (I assume you mean this, since no program named "uLauncher" exists) checks the size of a folder it simply adds up the sizes of each object it finds in the folder. And for the main FMCB boot file it will thus count the same physical file size 22 times, since there are 22 filenames linked to that single physical file.
There are also different filesizes possible for the main file, the smallest being 75KB, and the largest being appx 1.7 MB. Since uLE will count those sizes 22 times in checking a Multi-Installed B?EXEC-SYSTEM folder, the effect will be as if those files had been 1,650KB and 37,400KB respectively. The folder also has two other small files, so the apparent size of such a folder is always slightly more than 22 times the size of the main file.
In your own case, you probably have a main file of the 75KB type from a modern slim PStwo, while the demo you spoke of clearly used a main file of appx 1.45MB from an old fat PS2. But this assumes that both were 'Multi-Installs', which the demo certainly used. But your own size could also be due to a normal non-multi install using an even larger main file (thus also from an old fat PS2).
If you want to discuss these matters further, do NOT do so in this thread, but create your own instead. And the right place to do it would really be in the forum of FMCB itself, which is the FreeVAST subforum inside the Homebrew/Dev forum.
Best regards: dlanor

Ok Alucard...
Sorry if I made a mistake for putting a non-realted thread, Helping Arucard this is how I made it with usb
In my MC (I only have 3 files that are exactly like yours) and yes i have installed the support for the USB
if you have the SYS-CONF folder with this you can check whit this if there is a USB support installed,
you need to put the uLE in the USB inside a folder named BOOT
first you have to start your PS2 with the MC from the beginning press start this runs the FMCB config then go to the "Configure E1 LAUNCH keys..."
then you will see some keys already configurated then go and select one that had not use and browse and you will see mc0, mc1, but you nedd to go to the one that says mass (this is the one that belongs to the usb then choose these and select the folder name BOOT and search for the uLE and dont forget to save what you did here in SAVE CNF to MC0 then choose the PS2 Browser (FMCB restart) and push the button that you configurate for the uLE that runs from the USB this is how I did it works for me and is better than buying an obsolete products, try it you can't loose anything.

I'm not sure, if it must be a disc with the same content, but replaced ELF-File, or if it could be every kind of game also, to swap with.
I'm also not sure about the LBAs,...
Try the easiest.
-Make an image of your original disc.
-Replace the "SLUS/SLES/..."-File with ule's ELF renamed to this.
-Burn your image and do the trick.

You only need to open it, without cutting off.

NO! Please don't cut anything. ^^
You only need to open your PS2.
That's all.
