If you live in Europe get the 60GB to ensure ps2 backwards compatibly through software emulation if you live outside of Europe buy either the old 20GB or 60GB which has the emotion engine still installed or if you can't get that get the 80GB model it's the same as the 60GB version in Europe "note not the one released this month though as it's just a 40GB model with a 80GB HDD"
I would prefer the ntsc-u 60 gb one with the emotion engine, though its a little hard to find. Btw does anyone know if swapmagic can be used on this model to load import ps2 games?
I've seen it loaded on a PS3 but as far as testing it with games or a virtual ps2 mc for loading elf's IDK.
You'd have disassemble the blu-ray drive anyway to swap the discs voiding your warranty.
