dms4 pro solderless modchip

hi im thinking of getting a dms4 pro solderless for my little brother for his v12 ps2. I was going to get memor32 and put memento on it however memor32 is expensive and not that realiable but dms4pro solderless seems a good way to go for him. I myself am attempting to install a modbo 4.0 on a old ps2 but imn practising soldering ect ect and well i dont want to solder on my bros ps2.

im just trying to find more infomation about the chip firstly is it the same as the standard dms4 pro ( so.lder 1 ). Secoundly my brother likes to play alot of old psx games his fave is metal gear solid the disk is starting to get strached and well if u know its a multi disk game and the cog swap doesn work when you get to the insert disk 2 it doesnt recognise the disk. If i was to install the dms4 pro solderless will the 2nd backup disk be recognised

also im thinking of getting him a hard drive for his birthday sooo he can use it with his ps2 i have seen hdcombos with toxic os .... well is it possible to have a HD for the ps2 without soldering... I want to avoid soldering totally my hands are too shakey and i dont know any pro's..

ps2 killers :O? ive read they are really good.. so you saying that the normal dms4 pro is better then but then again it involves soldering.. and well im just learning how to solder and practising for my modbo 4.0 install but dms4 pro seems nice ive looked for places to buy them . they seem impossible to get hold of

have a look around in the dms sub forum. you find that pro installers have found that those chips kill ps2's.

HMMMM but i like toxic o/s and well i wanna run games of a usb hard drive well because im lazy... i also wanan be able to play psx and ps2 backups and imports and have the screen fix thats why i got the modbo 4.0 but im just affraid to install it thats why dms4 solderless seems good for me i shall look around and read up and gather some knowledge
