Don't misunderstand here. I talk about original snes emu for PC, not snes emu for ps2.

AFAIK ZSNES is written mostly in 386 assembly where SNES9x is written in C language so it's more portable. That's why nearly every system has a SNES9x port...

From last uLaunchELF release changelog:
-Changed draw.c and updated gskit source files to fix issues with the newer gsKit.
Maybe this usefull to you Ragnarok.

Maybe, it has a fix for sprite texture heights becoming 0 when halved... but I don't think I've come across that problem as of yet.

@ragnarok can you tell me where I can download the latest release of snes9x ? I has download packed_snes9xNTSC.elf from http://homebrew.thewaffleiron.net/ragnarok2040/ and burned it into DVD along with system file n rom folder but it didn't work on my ps2.
My ps2 is black fat 39006 and don't have Ulaunch elf. So I can't play using flash drive.
thank's

That is the latest version.
I do not know if you can simply burn it to a DVD and it will run, I use uLaunchelf and a pendrive to run.
Also, it's way too son to start burning DVDs with it, in case you do not know, nor have read the forum, it's alfa, and alfa means for testing purposes only. Do not expect a really playable version so soon.

Yes, that's why I'm not burning it in DVDs yet, heheheh.
My take: use uLaunchelf to copy snes9x to a memory card or pen-drive and run it from there again using uLaunchelf (it is kind of a must for this kind of testings). Snes9X/PS2 can access your DVD, so yu will be able to run from from it without problems.
I use a CD with uLaunchelf and a pen-drive where I store my emulators and roms.

No.
SNES-Station was developed by Hyriu and is based on snes9x, meaning it is a very modified version that have little to do with the original snes9x. This project is dead.
Snes9X/PS2 is developed by Ragnarok2040, is a port of snes9x for ps2 (meaning it will be able to incorporate future changes from the win/linux version) and is alive and kicking.
If you want play snes games, go with snes-station.
If you want test, give snes9x/ps2 alfas a try.

It is not abandoned.
Ragnarok just will have to rewrite some big part of it's graphi core.
See more details on the FCE Ultra/PS2 topic.

Without even a Beta-Release?
But I hope you get the time, to create a bit more evolved Alpha 4, or something.

I'm hoping to get FCEUltra finished up so I can focus more time on Snes9x, heh. I've just gotta make some drawing routines for the browser using gslib then re-port the 8-bit lores gfx mode and see if I can't use the custom audsrv lib I'm making for FCEUltra in this port as well.
