Front Mission 5: Scars of War - Fan Translation Project

I'm sure some of you probably already know about this project. However, for those who don't, there is a project to translate the latest PS2 Front Mission game "Front Mission 5: Scars of the War" from Japanese to English.

They are in need of as many people as possible who can help translate and help with other things. Check the Get Involved link and the discussion forum for info on what they need help with.

The highly anticipated Patch #2 has been released as of August 31st.

PATCH TIMELINE:
- Patch 1: data pertaining to interfaces and gameplay (names, skills, parts, etc.)
- Completion Date: May 15, 2008

- Patch 2: data from Patch 1 and events
- Completion Date: August 31, 2008

- Patch 3: data from Patch 2 and briefings, missions, and tutorials
- Completion Date: Unknown

You can get the new patch and read more about it at the official project site here. However, these patches only work on the original game, not the "Ultimate Hits" edition, which is answered on the FAQ page.
