How do I go about doin' that? Do I have to buy a special card, or can I just use any old card, similar to an Xbox Game save? I've modded several Xboxs, but just decided to give a go with a PS2. Any help would be appreciated. (Links to tutorials, or even a place that will answer my questions would be great.)

Easiest way to do it -
Get yourself a codebreaker disc at the game store.
Get a psx disc.
Download this:
http://ps2dev.org/ps2/Loaders/PS2_eXploit_Made_Easy (Forgive me if linking is not allowed. Just google for "ps2 exploit made easy" if this gets deleted.)
Make sure the playstation 1 disc is listed in the text file, or else it won't work.
Unzip the .cbs file onto a pen drive, dont put it into a folder on the pen drive though. Oh, make sure its formatted, fat32 should work.
Start codebreaker.
Use "device manager" in codebreaker.
copy the "system configuration" file onto the memory card.
Put your playstation disc in the drive.
reboot.
From there, you can figure it out. Start ulaunchelf, then follow the instructions to install freevast and you're all set.

Actually, the xbox just requires one save and one game and no further interaction. I would say they're equally as easy though. Unless you wanted to upgrade the harddrive, ps2 is definetely easier then that, except for the fact that you need to own a fat ps2 plus buy a network adapter. All the xbox needs is another hdd. However, the homebrew on xbox is more abundant. The coolest part about the ps2 is that it supports usb, xbox doesn't.
