Convert PS2 DVD to PS2 CD ?

Supposed that some of the dummy file of the ps2 dvd can be removed, can it be possible to convert a ps2 dvd to ps2 cd ?(Of course, the final size of the new file should be under 700mb) Using a ps2 cd generator to re-build the iso and burn it into a cd disc, can the PS2 play it ?( I have my reason, don't ask me why I want to do so ?) Any one tried it ?

Use DVD Scanlite 3.7
There should be a .pdf file included. Read it and give it a go. And yes you would also have to get the file size down if possible.

If this game not looking files in LBA, if after ripping fit on CD and if You change media flag to CD - of course yes.
