alcohol version for psx backup

hi which version of alcohol does it have the media type option for 'playstation' i got 1.9.5, 1.9.6, 1.9.7 and none of them have the option . my m8s pc had the option. i have a nec burner and final fantsy 7 pal iso on my pc . I herd that alcohol is the best way to burn playstation games but i cant do it

I'm not sure exactly which versions have it or not, but I do know that the old version I have installed has entries for both "Play Station" and "Play Station 2". These are found as "Datatype" settings in the "Image Making Wizard".

CDRWin is also a great app for PlayStation game backups.

I got 1.9.5 and theres an option for PSX It's caled: Playstation...

Click on "image making Wizard" and at the bottom shoul be a liitle "window" where you can choose the mode...klick on the arrow until u c Playstation

Well using Alcohol 120, will see what happens. I haven't had any luck using a variaty if applicaitons to back up my ps2 games.

Maybe because the mentioned apps are for PSX/PS1 games. For PS2 Games, use IMGBurn..

In the Alcohol version I have, PS2 type is in the option.
But in the end, all is well now.
