Could you also add if codes can be used if it has DNAS? Cause some game don't look for codes, like Need for Speed Underground 2 you can use codes and Some tony hawk games.

No you cant, unless, like Resident Evil Outbreak, it has HDD compatibility.
The people that tell you that you can are the one's that visit PS2Nfo & believe all their bull**it!

Not entirely. You can still play DNA$ patched backup games online with a slim, but unlike the old 'fat' PS2's, you are restricted to playing games in your own territory. ie: PAL games on a PAL machine, since the slim ps2 cannot have its regional machine id changed for multi region online play like the fat ones can.

If they have online play, then yes. Eg: Tribes Aerial Assault, Twisted Metal Black Online. But pre-DNA$ games are really old, so don't expect many (if any) people to be online.

You need the original store bought disc of the game you want to play online to get the ID for that game with ID Utility. Some games do work online with IDs from other games, but to be sure, it must be the same game. And you need to patch the iso of that game with that ID using WinDIP.
Need For Speed Most Wanted isn't an online game anyway!
ID lists are kept at many good backup related sites..........oh look!....there's the best one in my sig!
