uLE not reading content on CD-R

Hi guys,

Just wondering why uLE wont show me the content on a CD-R?

I have posted my full query in PSMS emu section but I wasnt sure if it might be a problem with uLE and not the CD/PSMS.

Cheers,
Jess.

I have no information whatsoever on your setup, so I can give no definite answer to your question.

There are only two main cases for which a PS2/PStwo can show contents of a CD-R disc.

1: You have a modchip in the console (real modchip, not any softmod/exploit)
2: You use forced disc swapping (like SwapMagic/CogSwap)

For all other cases it is impossible.

Even in that other post you did not describe your setup in detail, leaving out even the most crucial fact of all, which is the method you use for booting homebrew programs like uLE. Because of this I'm not sure whether CD access should work for you or not. But I suspect that you are using the FMCB softmod and have no real modchip, and since you mentioned using ESR in attempting to boot discs you probably have no means of accessing CD-R discs (because ESR can't do that, being intended only for DVD-R discs).

I did reply to that other post as well, so read that reply too, before continuing this thread, so you have all the info.

Best regards: dlanor
