NeoCD 0.6c compatibility list
Compatibility list for evilo's NeoCD/PS2 v0.6c

-with frameskip enabled:

works perfect : game works perfect = CDDA + sound effects
Text : game works fine, but CDDA or sound effects (music) could be missing, or minor glitches
Text : freezes occuring while playing/loading, or major glitches
The "*" means that cdda has not been tested.

Notes:

-Due to raster effects not being emulated, backgrounds can "split" in fighting games (Art of Fighting, Double Dragon, Last Blade, Samurai Spirits, Savage Reign...) or the super sidekicks games are unplayable.

-Characters in Fatal Fury games are a bit buggy (nothing big, really...) when they move in the background
-Characters shadow can be buggy in Samurai Spirit games and KOF94
-some games may have missing graphics in menus (like windjammers)
-(ok, last one ) some games play better without Frameskip (especially Viewpoint)

I GOT AERO FIGHTER 3 and KABUKI KLASH and there's no F@!#$% music first this is what i do i use sega cue maker and make a cue file and i put it in the game folder that has iso+mp3 and i burn it with nero with the speed 4x and when i load it up there's no music only the sound works i even put the cdda on and restarted CAN SOMEONE HELP !!!!

The game King of Fighters '99 works fine, there's music only the fighters select screen...But freeze when I won the first team. The emulator doesn't works more...

I used the version 0.6.

TOo , i don't have the same results as you , at least for magical drop 2 and Kabuki Klash: both of them have music+ cdda (even if KK freezes after 1st fight)

Also, does SS4 work for you? (for me the emu freezes before the fight even begins :P )

PULSTAR has incredible long and loud "BEEP" instead of some soundtracks, when playing them from options menu. I completed 1st level, and that awful "BEEP" appears and remains until level 2 was started, and then normal soundtrack starts playing again, but after 4-5 deaths all sounds disappears forever, even "restart" option didnt help (but CDDA was still here).

Ok, thank you to everybody about your feedbackS,
but maybe it's also time to start setting some rulez for the compatiblity list, as everyone has different results..

I just tested :
ALPHA MISSION 2 - I had NO BOSD, games is working (apart from sound issues)
LAST RESORT - Played the whole first level
Sengoku 2 - working perfectly (no loading problems)

I know that almost nobody is actually playing with their original copies and rather prefer playing with the backup version.. but how can we be sure of them ? I mean that the backup one is correct ?

Well, in order to run LAST RESORT, I had to boot another game, turn CDDA off and then it starts to work. Then I turned it on again, the music starts playing (still no sounds), but after my death just hangs up console.

Hi guys,

I'm new here, but I been trying to run the new emulator version 6.0a for a while now.
The results I have are using the backups version of games.
In each game only the sound appears, but not the music, even though I turn the cdda on and then reset the emulator, still doesn't work.

What I did was, I used a pc-neocd emulator to try my backups games and they work perfectly with the music, but the sound sometimes disappear. But I think that's the emulator itself , since it's not that good, But the music was really clear and sharp.

So, please let me know if you guys tried this method and what you think about it

The games that you been testing are the originals or backups?
Because I used the backups games with the new 6b version but still not music in the games.

My Samurai shodown original disc freezes at the screen after picking your fighter while the letters are scrolling and has a horrible buzzing sound while the game is loading.

Metal Slug has the buzzing sound too.
