Can I use this to copy .elf to memory card
If I booted this from cd or usb device can I then trnsfer a .elf to my memory card direct.
ps2 is chipped and had dev01

Yes, myPS2 has file transfering abilities. You can copy from CD,USB, MC or HDD to any device.
