matrix infinity and pal video dvd on ntsc

Hey guys,
I'm in the process of getting a MI installed in my v7 ntsc ps2. I know it patches pal games to work on ntsc, but what about pal video dvds? Will it patch those as well? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

I think the scheme that is used to play a PAL game on a NTSC TV does not apply to video dvd's. I imagine it has something to do with altering values in the programs of games, but that can't be done with a DVD. But the MI can play PAL FMV in a game though, so I'm not entirely sure what the difference would be. But No, as far as I know it does not work for Movies.
