Switch chips


Hi i have a magic V installed in my v5 ps2 i wanted to know can i just solder all the wires off the magic v and then solder them on the MI or do i have to change some wires ??

anyone ?? is there any chip that has the same points as the magic V for a v5/v6

nope... you will need to redo the reset point.. remove the Z wire ( i think magic v uses Z ) ... all bios wires are the same, just different letters. you will have to remove some of the cd/dvd wires like dfgh etc.. power and ground are the same. A wire is the same. X wire is the same. Y wire is the same. You need to compare the digrams between the 2 chips and use your brain.. its really not that hard.
