Matrix Infinity w/ Version 1 PS2 (sx and Y)

are there any alternatives for these two points? I really dont want to desolder those four power pins. I searched and saw ppl talking about alternative points. Can someone please share them with me and tell me if they work. Many thanks in advance?

Okay, I think I will just use a SX point from a DUO chip install. Another thing is, the Y point. What does it do and do I need it. Is it CLK? so maybee I can also use alt clk point from the duo chip install diagrams. Can anyone let me know it that will work?
Thank you all in advance.

Hey carl is it a GH004 or GH005 board? Either way the matrix site has the diagrams with the (Y) point shown. To unsolder those 4 points you need a 25 watt iron with big tip they sell them at radio shack and some solder braid

Nevermind, I used alternative points from a Duo diagram and the Ps2 works. Ps1 and ps2 backups boot. Originals play fine also. Hope this info comes handy for any modder who comes across V1 ps2's. And the board was a GH-005. So anyone who cares, Y on the MI is CLK. So there is no need to be desoldering those four points.

Well, Im off to call my costumer up and tell him the good news.
