V12 & DVD+R DL Problems

Hi,
i´ve installed the MI with the SummOne Fix in a silver V12, flashed to 1.54.
Everything works fine, except that the ps2 won´t read a copy of my GT4. I get the red screen saying put an original ps2 media in.
I´ve tested that copy on a V7 and everything workes, no problem with the DL Media. Have someone a clue.

I´ve also tried with removed fix, but nothing happend.

Sorry for my bad english, i´m from Germany.

Thanks,
Jojni

Hi, you should reinstall the fix. I recommend you enable it. Press Circle and Triangle and that will get you in the menu. I hope this helps.

Edit: In english it should be called DVD9 DL support and you can change any other settings if needed.

I´ve enabled the DL support in the Infinity menu.
But the v12 still don´t read the Game.

Can your ps2 play any other games on +R DL format, if so it may just be bad media, different lasers can work better/worse with same media.

With some DVD recorders like LG if using DVD Decrypter to record with then change the book value to DVD rom and not Dual layer. It is the little book like browse button in the right hand, bottom corner, click it, choose your writer and change the book type for DVD +r DL-media to DVD rom.

My Burner is a SamsungTS-H552, so i guess i don´t have to change book value.
Is that right?

Thanks,
Jojni
(still waiting for the verbatim media, to test...)
