Alternative 3.3v Matrix Infinity


Hi,
Is ther an alternative 3.3v point on the ps2 when installing a matrix infinty homebrew?

V12 slimline, I have the ps2 hanging at the "programming please wait screen" It is a genuine matrix chip.

thnx for the info but unfortunately it's still the same.
Do you think the following will work?
Take the 5.5v wire off the laser fix, move the 3.3v wire coming from the matrix infinity to where the 5.5v was?

I've had a chip like that, it too was a genuine infinty. Luke at infinity mods suggested I put a little solder paste onto the eeprom legs ang give them a touch with the iron but unfortunately this didnt solve my problems.

I sent the chip back for an exchange, but note another person on the forum with a genuine infinity ble dot doing the same too. Time for a new post me thinks.
