you're not stupid - everyone who does know didn't know at one stage (if that makes sense)
if you don't know MAME though, make sure you fully check out what it is, you wont be disappointed

M.A.M.E. = multiple arcade machine emulator

ps2mame is a ps2 port of MAME v0.37B16 (a much older version of mame than what is now available - it's now up to MAME v0.91).

MAME32 is a windows version of mame - this is the one I'd recommend looking more into first.

MAME32... check out this one 1st

download the "Mame32v.91_Binary", install and take a look at it - then start searching

some info here too...

You definitely don't need naplink. I've never used naplink - I wouldn't even know how to use it.
I've not used ps2mame for years so can't remember too much.
I can't remember if there was a different download for ps2mame (to not use naplink) - also don't know where to find the info on creating the discs, but there was a fair bit of info that could be found about it when released (either here or ps2ownz - if that's still alive).
I do remember at the time I was using the no-mod swap trick and it worked fine (I now have a modchip though).
Hope that helps somewhat - sorry I don't remember too much.

sorry for bringing up this thread but there are something i wanna ask.
1) Are you really positive about your working game list? (i couldn't make ps2mame works yet but i heard people said that it only work for a few simple game)
2) If it really is working then can you please put a step by step guide on how to make it works (I follow the 10 easy steps and it's not working) or by any chance send me your already make iso.I know the rule about asking iso but i only want it for learning purpose only so if you think it still against the rule can you spare me a chance don't ban me. Thank you
