Also I was hearing these games have an lba check, and something along the lines that the lba of the swap magic is not the same as the original game so the game doesn't boot.

sort of like how the 1.0 gameshark needed a patch which made the sl_s file at the correct lba.. a tool could be made.
or, just get a neokey or 4 wire mod and it should work. no solder mods do about as much good as a flip top lid

Wasn't really paying attention ( since I have a messiah and also a couple unmodded w/gs's) so I may be wrong but I think I read it had something to do with a region selector pal/nstc file in the game something like it only gave problems for pal users, like I said I didn't really read the post though, so I may be mistaken.

That's not the only problems there having over at ownz they can't get all the colors for the flip top covers. Just give me a clear case for my ps2 version 5.
