Well folks the day is finally here!! GTA:VC is released over the PS2 scene, in DVD form (yeah regular single side media, no DVD9 media), weighting 55x50megs. Please dont ask us where to get these game nor ask someone else in the forum.

Remember that good games from developers deserve your money so they can continue their developing! If you like the game, SUPPORT THEM AND BUY THE GOD DAMN GAME

Hmm, is this a rip or a full image? Any idea if the original will ocme on DVD9 regardless?

Oh and please do buy this game, if we all didn't pay then games like this wouldn't be made

Its not DV9 nothing was ripped from the dvdr of this release. It was Ign blowing smoke up are ass. I already bought it and picking it up tommorow no need to download this.

it's a full image, I'm sure a rip will follow shortly, on about 20 disks

it's only 2,8 gig... even gta3 was larger

they say they've used an other audio compression on this one... could be... but a rip, uhh, no, the game doesn't deserve that

I think a rip will appear soon, especially if it's only 2.8 gigs, I am getting it on dvd-r though

gta3 was just over 1gb in size after u removed all the dummy files i think. so 2.8gb seems small but seems right at the same time, its ment to be twice the size ehe

Why dont you import one from the States or Canada the unedited version if you have a non-swapping chip.

Rockstar Studios got loaded with GTA3, and with the sales of Vice City and whatever Sony is giving them in exchange for platform exclusivity, they are going to the bank. Must be the greatest company to work for right now.

uhh, paying $70 (coz that's what they cost here) for a game that you've never played yet (and that might be fucking shit) is just insane imho...

and why are you here when you are against piracy? i mean, i don't believe you if you say that you use your modchip only for playing imports and own backups.

The reasons I decided to post it were :
1) Its one of the BEST games EVER on the PS2
2) There were rumours that it was a DV9 based game, so i wanted to clarify that to our readers
3) Did i ever told you, go download the game, and rip the company off?? uuhm i dont think so, and no i didnt meant to 'promote' 'illegal' stuff... if u dont like it just ignore it
