Ferrari Challenge??

I have heard some people have this game working using HDL 8c (no modes)but when I try to run it the game looks as if its going to start and then it freezes right after checking for memory card. Anyone have this game running with HDL?

Yes I'm talking about Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. clemsche could you tell us how you got it running like did you put it on the HD via the disk and HDLoader or WinHIPP, are you using any modes, MDMA0 etc etc. I've tried 2 versions still the same result. I get what your saying about the game not being worth it but I'm just curious how some people have it working and others are having the same problem as myself. BTW I'm usng a launch PS2 (North America) using FMCB 1.7 installed with WinHIIP 1.7.6

I put it on my HDD with WinHiip 1.76 and used my own patched HDLoader, I think it must be version 0.8c. Sorry, but I erased it so I can't tell you about the modes anymore... Maybe try mode 1 to 3. The version was an PAL ISO, I think.

Maybe theres a difference between the PAL and NTSC versions. I'm using a NTSC ISO,and yeah I already tried modes 1-3 with no luck.

Oops, actually didn't erased it from HDD so I checked and I don't have to use any modes. My console is a PAL, fatty one.
