Substitution to PS14 fuse

Sup everyone, I doing some trial and error stuff right now and thinking that is it possible to solder a fuse with the same rating as shown in the pdf

*I would solder the fuse along the samecontacts as the ps14 but i wouldn't remove the blown fuse.*

Specifically a fuse very similar to this
CATALOG # 473.750 as in pdf
AMPERE RATING:3/4
VOLTAGE RATING:125

I'm not sure if this can help you, but I did something similar here (see post #4 and onward). I ended up having to replace the PS10 fuse on my GH-022 motherboard with a fuse I bought from the source. It worked great as a replacement.

As long as values are the same, package does not matter... I would replace it, not "piggy back" it... If it turned out that the fuse is not blown, tolerances could double making a much stronger to blow fuse which could lead to the chip burning from the inside out... I've got one here that actually did burn and has a nice hole right in the middle... LOL...

removal

So to remove ps14 fuse, I must apply flux and use the soldering iron to apply heat on each leg one at a time?

Yup... I use a heat gun or a butane torch pen but you can use the iron if nothing else is available...
