PS2 version 4 dead fuse???:crazy:


Good day, to fellow members my ps2 won't turn on it's been a few weeks since I played now Power/Reset button led won't come from standby mode what do I need to test and the tools that what will be needed as well. Schematics are welcome

all right i get back to you with results what do i test it with voltage meter? ps14 is not on the schematic where can i locate it?

The lower rez schematic does show it (sort of) in a tiny inset showing part of the opposite side of the board.

That's correct... It will look like a tiny black box with the number 50 on top of it... On the other side of the board, should be on the corner (undeside of BA58 CHIP)... Use multimeter check for continuity if the fuse is blown it should not have continuity (won't beep)...

tested all fuses ps1-ps14 all had connectivity beeped.... what's next? also whats the reading that these fuses should give be greater or less than one?
