1.6 - usb works with mc0 but not mc1

i run mcboot 1.4b before without problems and updated to 1.6.

Everything works with 1.6 as long as I keep my 8mb memory card for testing purposes in the first slot (mc0).

When I put it in the second slot though, then instead of automatically looking on the usb stick for sms it goes to a screen where I can manage my memory cards.

When I hold L1 to force it to load sms it hangs and I get a green line on the top of the tv.

I formatted the card and reinstalled it, but it didn't help.

Does anyone have an idea what I could do? thanks!

That is a known bug, which will be fixed in next release,...

Several things are of importance here. One is to check the contents of the MC in slot 2 using that browser, to make sure that it works right for normal access. The other is to try backing out of the browser, to see if the FMCB extensions to the Sony menu look right, and if so then try using them.

Well, if you don't have a forcing reason to use slot 2 for that MC, then my first advice would be to go back to having it in slot 1.

thank you for the replies. I have a 64mb memory card in slot 1 and freemc doesn't work with it. But I can wait until the next version of course The devs are doing an amazing job.

[Edit] I solved the problem by copying the whole folder with the usb files to the memory card in slot 1.
