Memory Plus 64mb and FCMB\PS1 Exploit?

So is it possible? I don't want to shell out $40 for a card that can't have a PS1 exploit, or Free MCboot. Can someone with this card test this? I can give files if needed.

I just tested installing Free McBoot to my Memory 64 Plus{CodeJunkies version} and had no problems with it installing and booting to uLaunchelf. I didnt go indepth with testing other stuff, but it works same as my Sony 8MB cards so far.

I backedup the files that came with it, just incase, then formatted it with Free McBoots format option, then installed.

Hope that helps. Its a bargin for 64MB at $40 compared to only 24MBs with a set of 3 Sony 8mb cards selling at WalMart for $40 too.

Did you try Free McBoot in it to see if it works? If it does, i might buy a few to give to family members who dont have HDDs and USB sticks for the extra space.

yep, that one.
tried to install now - installs ok, than black screen after reboot.
gow works with this card though. or is it gow2 that supposed to have problems with 3rd party cards?

I bought the 64MB card from DealExtreme and I am happy to report that the Normal Install of FMCB worked on it without any problems. It launched ESR and I was good to go. The MultiVersion install however didn't work and said that OSD was missing. Doesn't really matter since I won't be using the MC on any other consoles but my own.
