    I don't know if this has even been thought of and posted here at ps2-scene but I know that you can't put snes roms on a partition on your hdd like Pgen. But if you are running hdloader on your ps2 through a boot disc just put a SNES rom folder in the boot disc directory and put a cd image of snes-station on your HDD. Once loaded snes-station will search your hdloader boot-disc for the roms and walah snes-station sorta working in conjuction with hdloader.You never have to open your ps2 to load this and theres no disc swapping It doesn't even use your laser that much. The only time the laser is used is when loading the rom list and loading the rom (which both take a few seconds) after that no laser is used. So I thought I just put that out there if anyone is curious.

    Could you explain more in depth the steps in which I need to take in order to get the SNES Station to work on my PS2? I don't have a modchip, but I am using HDLoader v0.7c fully patched w/250gb hdd.

    I downloaded an .iso file w/all the roms included, but when I transfer the image to my hdd, HDLoader loads the SNES Station logo, but no games are available. I tried to burn the games to a disc, but it says there aren't any games on the disc?

    Any help will be greatly appreciated since I am dying to get this to work!

    It takes some try and error to make it work, that's for sure.

    First you need to get a iso of hdloader or make one and all you have to do is add a folder in the directory with all your snes roms. Then you burn it to a cd or dvd depending on how many roms you have. Then you have to make a Snes-Station iso(without roms just the system.cnf and the elf file) and transfer it to the hdd. Then load up the cd or dvd you just made of hdloader and boot snes-station. It then looks at the cd and if u did it right you can play your roms.

    Isnt this a little redundant?

    In order for the PS2 to read the burnt HDL disk with the snes rom folder on, surely you have to be using a chipped PS2? If thats the case why not just burn a snes station CD with all your roms on it and use that?

    Its so you don't have to open yor ps2 disc drive. If you leave the hdloader cd in there all you have to do is turn on the ps2 and you access to snes station and pgen (if you have put in there) and all your ps2 games without any cd swaping

    yep sounds like he has it chipped.

    @stoopidmnkey

    You can get snes to run on an unmoddified ps2. My ps2 is not chipped and I run snes roms from a cd-r. All you have to do is burn a cd with roms as a "CDX" image on cdgenps2. Then you will need "mcloader" elf on your memory card. Run the mcloader elf with keylauncher or ulaunch. Then when mcloader loads, load the snes elf application. The snes elf has to be in the MC as well.
