    never mind the above is right I just got the wrong info and put the folders in the wrong positions should go:
    SLES 53991
    System.cnf
    icon
    license
    urban

    change the system cnf to the above and make sure the file alignment in the layout part of cdvd generator looks like the file above [QUOTE]system.cnf has to look like this:

    BOOT2 = cdrom0:\URBAN\URBAN.ELF;1
    VER = 1.00
    VMODE = PAL

    rebuild game with exactly this file order (there is a version of the game with more files but they are not needed !!)

    Hi guys,
    I'm trying to run this game from HD using HDDLoader 0.7c; I upload games on the PS2 using LordBoGaMi's HDL_Dump GUI 2.1 with hdl_dump & hdld_svr both version 0.8.5
    I edited the SYSTEM.CMF and make it look like this:

    BOOT2 = cdrom0:\URBAN\URBAN.ELF;1
    VER = 1.00
    VMODE = PAL
    [blank row as in the original SYSTEM.CNF]

    I substitute the original SYSTEM.CNF using UltraISO (cancled the orginal and drag-and-dropped the edited) that repacked the ISO.
    When I upload the program I checked only Mode 3.

    While before I was at least seeing the grey dots on the lower-right corner, now it shows nothing.

    Any clue what I'm doing wrong?

    I'm also a little bit confused when you talk about rebuilding the ISO with files in a particular order.

    SCPH-39001 FU3253859 2D (v7) - Matrix Infinity FW1.88
    Ice Manager 1.0
    HDLoader 0.8a + HDL_DumX 0.8.5

    Same here, I used to get it to hang at the grey dots, but now, after following all the steps very carefully, I get nothing. BTW, I have the American version and I am trying to run it off the harddrive. Thanks.

    i found on another forum that the editing should be like this

    BOOT2 = cdrom0:URBAN\URBAN.ELF;1
    VER = 1.00
    VMODE = PAL

    so without the first backslash but still no results, also using Mode 3...
    I gave up

    thanks my friend. Unfortunately that looks just like my SYSTEM.CNF...
    I take a whild guess: can it be due to using HDL_Dump???

    hmm i don´t no i use all the way Winhiip and maybe when i read you are cancelled the file and then you put the new one in is that right.

    My way is take the system.cnf and overwrite the existing file this is the only different thing that i can see.

    I did it by rebuilding the image, like it said, but no go. I'm gonna try using winhiip, as I've been using hdl_dumb.
    We'll see...
