ok here is how JNABK got it work .. iam sure he also posted here but i cannot find it :

Heres what JNABK did:

1- create ISO with DVD Decrypter
2- edit the SYSTEM.CNF {attached}
3- Edit the USBMCEmu and rename it to SLUS_999.99 {attached}
4- open the ISO with UltraISO
5- added SYSTEM.CNF & SLUS_999.99, then saved a copy.
6- installed the new ISO with Winhiip and enabled mode 3
7- used an MC exploited ps2 and ran HDLv0.8c booted from uLaunchelf.

This does work, i can confirm it working with HD Loader. Ive attached the edited files, so no need to mess with that part, they are ready to go into your iso.

thanks for the files peppers its now working for me for some reason when i searched usbmcemu.elf for the address from the tutorial it didnt exist but all is well now and working W00T1!1

I am glad you got it working even though I forgot to edit out the full path name, that would have triped some people up.

I have corrected this error and upped a new file btw

And remember the files me and peppers have made only apply to Twisted Metal:Head On, so you will need to edit the system.cnf and usbemu.elf for other games you try the VMC fix for!

I don't know, and will not learn the basics of MC eploit.

Is there any PPF patch only for this game.

An exploit ps2 isnt necessary, you just need to be able to run the game from the HDD with whatever you have been using.


I just put what i did, but it will also work fine if your using a modchip with dev or whatever way you run HDLv0.8c. I havent tested this on any other HDL version, so i cant say if they also work or not.

I do this procedure and not work. Can you tell me what I missed.

1. open the iso with ultraIso.
2. delete and replace the SYSTEM.CNF & SLUS_999.99 (i dowloaded in this thread).
3. save a copy.
4. Transfer with winhiip.
5. use hdl 8c.
6. does not work.
