test Drive - eve of destruction

I saw this is will not work with the HD. But these messages i found are over a 1 1/2 years old. Does anyone know if the new version of hdloader allows this game to work, or if a patch was ever made.

The last post about this game was in 7/04.

chances are if there aren't any new post on the topic, then there isn't a hd solution.

can i ask why you haven't tested it yourself?

go check it out and come back with your results for those who are still interested....

This game still doesn't work
Too bad, cause it's the best 4-player competitive racing(fun) game out there...

Edit:
The hdd activity led blinks a lot and the screen too, but then it's just black screen and the blinking stops... I've tried all possible combinations of modes.
I've been looking around for fixes to other games that might work with this one and the only thing I've found that I think it might be is the Crash Twinsanity hdl stack overflow problem...
I found a lot of "stack" text in the elf like

.....exceeded stack limit!..
.Stack overflow!!!....

and that kind of stuff


But I have no idea what to look for so if someone has any ideas please post them here
