strange issue with GTA: LCS

I got this one a while back, installed it, everything was great. I had an "issue" with my hdd, so I reformatted it, and since I backup all my iso's on my pc (I have a 320gb and a 500gb, no sweat) I just tranfered them all back on. This is the same way I installed them, in the first place.
NOW, LCS freezes before the first load (all I get now is the opening fmv) reinstalled it any number of times, even shrunk it down, same thing. Burned copies of the original, and the shrunken remaster, both work fine from the swap-trick. Even tried ripping both down from those on my console, and even tried other hdd's, same thing.

WTF???

anyone have any thoughts on this one?

you must use the latest HDLoader to get it to work, it's version 0.8b

version?? whatever, I compile my own, and I apply all the latest fixes, the thing was working fine, once, and I've tried different combiinations of patching and not pathcing, and nada. I just dont get it.

don't apply the god of war 2 demo fix or it won't work.

You almost got it right: It's "Schoen" or "Schön"
