i ran a search to see if any1s SW:BF was freezing while saving but i wasnt able fo find anything, i followed the steps correctly(i think) to get SW to work on HDL, but evertime i try to save it just freezes, i also tried saving at the option screen and when i finished a mission but it just keeps on freezing and makes a corrupt date file on my memory card, any1 able to help me to get SW:Bt to save?
Sorry for my english

I don't have the game, so I can't test it, but it could be the classical date/time patch problem. Very many games had this problem with no date-patch in HDL, and for most of them the generic form of the patch ( /D1 ) will fix it. (The other variants are for specific games only.) If you don't already use this patch, I suggest you try it. (And if you do use it already, then I'm afraid I can't help...)

I don't have the faintest idea what 'exploitstation' is or what they have done...
I can only guess (from the name) that it's some site with PS2 'exploit' installers.
Anyway, the ONLY way to be 100% sure of what patches HDL contains is to start with an unpatched copy and make the patches yourself, using the patch utility by Zero-X, possibly aided by one of the many GUI applications that others have made for it. These can all be found in the 'Sticky:' threads at the top of the HDD forum pages.
As for the date patch, it is NOT a separate file, but just one of many options in the HDL patcher by Zero-X.
