    I have installed it to my HDD with mode 3 enabled but only get a black screen, anyone got any thoughts how to get it working?
    V4 PS2 ~ 80GB w/retail HDAdvance, no mod chip and swap magic v3.6

    AMD sempron 2300+, 512 ddr2700, 20GB boot drive, 200GB storage, ATI Mobility Radeon 9250 128MB, 4MBps net

    Try without modes. I dont have this game, but the compatibilitylist says its working without modes...

    EDIT:
    Maybe its because you are using HDadvance Retail. Try using a newer version like hdloader7c

    can you point me in the right direction of an idiots guide of how to get hdloader7c up and running,

    for some reason the HDloader 7c dvd image isn't working so i have downloaded the ELF for it, but how can i have it so that the HDloader 7c ELF is the only thing that runs from the memory card at bootup

    Search for the independence exploit or something like that. There should be a tutorial how to get it working, I dont know where it is right now and Im too lazy to search for myself.
    You will need a ORIGINAL PSone disc for starting hdl though. And you need to be able to boot a burned disc once to get hdl onto your memcard.

    ok thanks for that. i have already tried the independance exploit with no luck, but i'll work on it this weekend and see how I get on with it this time
