I second this question. Please help. I've tried HDadvance 2 & 3, plus HDloader 0.8c and nothing's worked so far. The game doesn't boot up at all.

If mode 3 is supposed to be the "kill hdl after launch option", then that doesn't seem to be working for me either. The game still refuses to boot at all. Is there some kind of patch I should be using for hdl0.8c?

You are trying the PAL version which will never work with HDL and it's too late now for others to care to patch it up. Try the NTSC-U or NTSC-J versions, even if it means importing them (don't be a cheapskate ). No guarantee either will work though.

I've been referring to the NTSC-U version the entire time. Sorry for not making that clear from the beginning. I guess I've just got a faulty iso. I'll try ripping it again.

Is your PS2 chipped? If not you'll have to ESR-patch the image. And I hear it's not responding to that.

My ps2's not modded. I use swap magic to load hdl & hda. Btw, what's an ESR patch?

    *edit*

This one appears to be no good. The guy who posted here saying it worked apparently was trolling.
