Im sure this will work off the HD, but my question is can I play online with it? I know you can get on with codes so I was just wondering.

You cannot play DNAS enabled games online from the hdd. The closest thing you're going to get is a network game.

They can get online with codes, so I was just asking. I'll try to get it to work anyway.
