Lets only hope and pray that this game works on the HDD...
I've also heard that this game streams just like ssx on tour...and ssx on tour isn't working.

And the demo didn't work, still keeping my fingers crossed. If it doesn't, maybe I'll just burn it to a DVDR or buy it.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a patch.Already know its not gonna work...
keep the spirit !! it has to work !!! i don't think i have any working DVDR's for my ps2 right now
the game should be released today
GTA: San Andreas streams, as do the majority of other games, and for the most part they work.
The easiest way for developers to protect against HDL etc, is to place the "Stack" or other important data in the same space that HDL bios sits in ram. Which is exactly what Jak3 and Rachet3 did I believe :![]()
I have a strong feeling the game wont work with HDL, which sucks... I'm buying the game anyway in a few days, but I always prefer to play games from HDD, it's faster, smoother and more convenient, not to mention easier on the PS2 laser.
My laser is out, but the problem of compatibility with HDL is not only specific to Shadow of The Collosus. I mean, think of SSX On Tour, Fahrenheit, Everybody's Golf, Socom 3 etc ...
The future of HDL has never been that gloomy so far ...
You can express yourself as part of THIS thread!
I don't yet know if SOTC will work with HDLoader, but it has been confirmed that the game disc itself is a DVD5.
Ok its out.Now we wait....
Cross fingers people...
Tested it with 0.7b. It doesn't work.
