Buying a DMS4 in order to play 3 or 4 games that Hdloader won't play is not worth, i think is expensive and remember some ppl are working on HDHomebrew Project. When it's released we won't hear anymore of you Toxic fans.

You're right, they are the same people but they won't upgrade HDloader since it's "free".

Because when they bought their DMS4 and see ppl without modchip playing with HDloader they prefer think the chip is not useless.

This kind of "My stuff is better than your stuff" bashing is just plain silly.

I happen to have a DMS4-Pro chip myself, with all the latest Toxic stuff installed, but that has not made me any kind of fanatic, nor does it have that effect on any other sensible people. Some few may react that way, but not the majority.

As for myself, I prefer to use HDLoader for those games that it supports, resorting to ToxicOS only for those games that it uniquely supports. To be honest, there are very few games supported by ToxicOS which don't also work with HDLoader. But that is still no cause to imply that either the chip or ToxicOS is "useless". Even a single extra game supported would be sufficent difference for anyone who loves that game...

In case you wonder, the main reason I prefer to use HDLoader above ToxicOS is simply that I can start HDLoader from uLaunchELF, which I can't do with ToxicOS (requires a full reboot).

Even if ToxicOS didn't exist, this chip and its ToxicBIOS are definitely in the top-bracket of all PS2 mod-chips, together with other classics like the genuine MI and its great firmwares (but as opposed to all its pathetic clones).

    Best regards: dlanor
