Hoi! Thanx for the fast answers...
I was using hdl_dump & hdl_dumb both didn't work for me with DVD9.
The games freeze at layer-break (GOW at the Pandora-something and
GT4 right at the beginning)
The images was transfered completely (as far as I can tell)
After I connected the HDD directly to my PC and used winhiip it worked.

so that means that you can dump a DVD9 to you HDD without flattening? I only have done it with Xenosaga, but it took a hell of a lot of timeQuote:

As I understand it a 'flattened' image is one which has been changed from normal dual-layer form, into the form of an impossibly large single-layer image. Such an image can not be burned to a dual-layer disc, but it can be installed for HDLoader, since it isn't dependent on the physical DVD-disc layer limits.Quote:

I have God of War and Gran Turismo 4 installed and they're not flattened and they work just fine with HDLoader 0.8b.
I can't remember if retail HDLoader works even if images are flattened.
Yeah, you don't need to modify a Dual Layer ISO for it to work with HDL 0.8b.
thanx for the reply (to think of all the time I wasted to flatten Xenosaga thinking 8b couldn't handle dual layer ¬¬)
