Ratchet & Clank 1 - Problem

I loaded the original Ratchet & Clank DVD onto my hard drive, but it doesn't appear to work with HDL Patched 0.7c? It says on the list that HDL Patched 0.7c doesn't have any issues with it or that you need to run it in a special mode?

I made an ISO of the game using DVD Decrypter and loaded it via WinHIIP. Is there something special I need to do? Also, this is the red version "PS2 Value Mega Hits Title" or something. Does that make a difference?

I guess I should've said which one it was. It is the USA/NTSC "PS2 Greatest Hits" (Red Banner) version.

I was able to finish the game with my DVD, but my PS2's laser is almost dead. I was just wondering why the hell 2/3/4 would all work without any problems on the hard drive, but the first one (oldest) would have issues...?

I know the image I made with DVD decrypter is good. To test it, I burned the image onto a DVD-R and started it using COGSWAP and it worked just like my original DVD.

I guess another question, it there any difference between the first release of Ratchet & Clank and the recently released one that has the red banner on it released as a "PS2 Greatest Hits" title?

It's a classical case. Does not work with any HDLoader. And was released before HDLoader!

But Ratchet 2, 3 and 4 are working perfectly with HDLoader.
