Possible to play PAL games from the HDD??
Possible to play PAL games from the HDD?? –
I was just wondering if its possible to back up PAL games on a hard drive if you have a modchip installed (specifically the d.ms4SE).
I didn't know if the modchip has any effect on games once they are on the hard drive or not and don't feel like wasting the time of putting my PAL games on if they won't work.
thanks for any advice.
you can play games from any region
SCPH-39004 (V7) PAL | Ripper 3.1 (MI clone) | NA | 40GB 7200 rpm, 2 MB, Samsung | dev.1 ulELF
| HDL 0.8b
Xbox 360 | 3x Sega Saturn Model 2 | Nintendo64 | Sega Dreamcast
yup, I have Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's call on my NTSC PS2 and plays smoothly (as far as I've seen, since I haven't had a chanse to play it yet)
Sorry for saying this, but I thought it was clear that the PS2 was compatible with all regions. I have a PAL PS2v7, and it works with NTSC games and JAP too (those are NTSC too I think). Anyhow, the only thing is the TV and colours. I had to buy a new scart-cabel for colour and that NTSC is at 60hz and PAL at 50hz.
