I was just wondering if its possible to back up PAL games on a hard drive if you have a modchip installed (specifically the d.ms4SE).
I didn't know if the modchip has any effect on games once they are on the hard drive or not and don't feel like wasting the time of putting my PAL games on if they won't work.
thanks for any advice.

Sorry for saying this, but I thought it was clear that the PS2 was compatible with all regions. I have a PAL PS2v7, and it works with NTSC games and JAP too (those are NTSC too I think). Anyhow, the only thing is the TV and colours. I had to buy a new scart-cabel for colour and that NTSC is at 60hz and PAL at 50hz.
none

the one I mentioned has a P/N selector, it stats off as 50hz, but then I select 60 and it's all cool
