Persona 4, Mana Khemia 1&2 Freeze on Save/Load

As per title, with this game will sometime (Persona 4 do it often) freeze when I'm attemping to saving or loading data. It's really an ANNOYNG problem... Just today, it have corrupted my Mana Khemia filedata!
In Persona 4, the first time I've attempted to access the MC, the game didn't recognize it, but after some try it do.
All this game are listed as full compatible in other the list I've seen and nobody else seem suffer this problem; is this really only my problem? °_°
It's possible that the MC (original, the one that come with consolle) have problems or are the games?

I use the version 8c, booted with FMC1.8 in a PS2 SCPH39004 (reaaaally old! °_°)

Yes I would say its possible it is just the memory card. Do you have another memory card to try.

You could try this tutorial to fix the saves

or if you have uLe, backup your memory card to usb, format the memory card

see if you still have problems.

i'm not having problems with p4 nor mana khemia 2 (i don't have mana khemia 1, though).

i also tested them with datel's 64mb memcard, and no issues there.

I don't have never any problems with save games of Mana Khemia 1.

If you are using a memory card no official, buy the official Sony 8MB,
the cloned cards cause a lot of problems like the one you describe.

This is nothing a problem of the games or compatibility with hd.
