PAL to NTSC

I just got a few PAL games off ebay and was able to rip and convert them to NTSC and burn them to DVD and they play just fine. The problem is when i attempt to load the converted .iso to my hdd via winhiip and play it on my system there's no color, only black and white. is there a reason for this? Im using hdl 0.8c and the program i used to convert with is pal2ntsc with the y-fix set to 48. Any info on this would be great

I don't know but i found this website good

Some games just dont work....but apparently some do....ie. all i converted with y-fix worked besides lemmings but i have not tried that many
