Works without any problems (so far). Mode 3, HDL 0.8b, via hdl_dump. Shrunk to 1.6GB (false LBA) shown as 1GB.

i see there is a system link option, so does this mean we can play and link 2 machines using that tunneling software on the computer, i forget what it was called. Im going to look into it and try it out if i find it, ill post back results.

it looks like a regular online thing, because i know that this game is online playable for sure, and there's no other option to do so.

rebuild it using cdgenps2

Or open iso with UltraIso and resave

ack mine wont work, using scene version NHL_07_USA_PS2DVD-Start2

stalls at ea sports screen...

mode 3, hdl 0.8b, fat ps2 with network adapter and 80gb hdd, has some random modchip in it, thats disabled...

yup, same version. make sure that mode 3 is set, since it looks like you forgot about it (game freezes at ea sports screen without mode 3)

yep mode 3 is set, it gets a bit further but still freezes...
i'll try the pal version just released
