Need patch for god of war

yes, there's a patch. but you should search for it.

Is there a patch for the actual ISO? All I've seen are patches for HDL. Is there anything for those of us who can't use burned DVDs, simply use HD Advance (NOT run off the HD or MC), and have to get it there with HDL dumb or something similar? A fix similar to what was done with GT4, altering the hex etc? I have searched, and I haven't seen anything like that.

I agree with you, but sometimes they may not know the answer on hand but may have seen it...

If you can use HDL Dumb, why don't you just use ExecFTP and upload a patched version of HDLoader direct to your memory card? Just a thought...

I don't think there's a way to get God of War to work with HDAdvance 2.0 b/c it doesn't support dual layers. I know there was a way of flattening the DVD image and mangling it somehow to work before HDLoader got dual layer support, but I think even that method required a newer HDLoader version.

Right on robby, since you got hdadvance you can install the exploit then you can use the updated hdloader...

To any who is having problems with GOW and hdloader. There is no problem. If you take a unpatched/unpacked original hdloader and apply the current hdlpatch_0.6d.exe or what ever is the latest. No modification is needed whatsoever to the get GOW working. Transfer the image to the Hard drive duallayer'd with Winhiip 1.7.2. Hdloader has dual layered support and so far it works for GOW

I was under the impression that GOW only worked with HDL and not HDA. So if thats the case even if he did install the game through the network it wouldnt be playable. I have the game but still just went ahead and got the confusion release. And I actually just beat it yesterday. I too had HDA but I went ahead and just got HDL because of GOW. And let me tell you its worth it. Alot more games are compatable with HDL then HDA like GOW and Ratchet and Clank 3
