1. Download PSXSports roster file in either of the game enhancer formats. (I used NCAA 2005, 1A.....since I haven't picked up 2006 yet.)
2. Put roster file into 'ps2save-builder.exe' (this will break it down into the raw file, the icon, and the view files. Right click and extract each file into arbitrary folder.
3. Note the name of the raw file. (ex... 'BASLUS-20991TRos1AA1' for NCAA 2005)
4. Ensure there is plenty of space on the memory card.
5. Make and name folder as the name of the raw file above (BASLUS-20991TRos1AA1)
6. Copy the 3 files into that folder. Close connection.
7. Start NCAA 2005. Note how it says loading 1A Roster! Start new profile and dynasty. The 1A roster will be linked. Do this for the 1AA roster too if you wish. Enjoy!
I've been trying to upload the 1A rosters to my memory card, which I've done but I can't seem to load it in the game. I've got a feeling it's the name of the folder I've used. I've got the BL lists and i've been uploading it to what I've found to be my NCAA 2006 folder in a folder I named: 21214_2523_NCAA_1A_Ro.
The file names are: 21214_2523_NCAA_1A_Ro.max and 21214_2523_NCAA_1A_Ro.xps. Am I putting these in the right place ( i can't be if it's not working)? Should I add a BASLUS onto the front of that folder name? or should I put this in the root directory of the MC? Thanks for all replies that help...
Are you using SharkPort,XPort,Maxdrive or what means are you using for file transfer? If you're using SharkPort or Xport then you don't need to add anything to the file names. Just make sure the file extensions have either .sps(Sharkport) or .xps(XPort). What do you mean by folder name? There shouldn't be a folder name for your file transfers. Just the filenames provided by Blacklover(I use the same) is all you need & I've had absolutely no trouble with these files from BL. It really doesn't matter whether you're using SharkPort or XPort because they're really the same so you can use either the .sps or .xps extensions. When you get these onto the MC then they should load up automatically. This is if you haven't already started a dynasty though. They will do you no good if a dynasty has already been started. You have to start fresh like the season just started. Let us know how things go! :)
