    does anyone know is umk3 works?
    mka works with mode 3, but when i load umk3 i get a black screen

    I think is because by using mode 3 you remove the HDL from memory, and when you run another elf it searches from the disc.
    A work arount tto this, even if it's a long shot, is to rebuild the image if you identify the UMK3 elf, and put it on the System.cnf.
    So you will have two dvd images, one that boots Armageddon and one that boots UMK3.
    It worth a shoot if you really want to play UMK3.

    you only need that one directory and system.cnf file, that's all you take that dir and that file and make an iso out of it using cd/dvd gen 3.0

    You don't HAVE to shrink it anyway!
    Just put there a 4 gig extra...until you're done with it

    I mean if he doesn't know how to shrink, just don't shrink it. He'll play a 4 gig UMK3 from HDD, but it will work.
