i was hoping to play this on a lan from the hdd is this pissible?
or are there problems with it not running on hdloader.
ive been wanting to try and play this. im planning on buying it but copying it to my hdd and let my friend use it for multiplayer...

what are you trying to do exactly? you can't play online from the HDD, you have to burn it to a disc. also, if you want to play online then you have to patch the ISO of the game you ripped before burning it. it's simple, you just need a program and the online ID of the game to patch it.

this site says that the game is HDL compatible..so you can play offline from the hdd, but when you try to go online it won't let you. you can search this site and see which games are hdl compatible, people submit the lists..

well some games are not compatable with hdloader period and i was wondering if it was....

anyway, check www.ps2hd.com. then click on LIST at the top menu

The online portion requires you to connect to a server, there is no LAN Option.

You obviousely can't play online portion with HDLoader...(I even ended up on the black screen of death while just choosing this option with the original game on my PAL PS2

)

but DVD1 works just fine (I had a freeze or two while soft-resetting or poping up the menu too quicly though...)

great game by the way ^_^ (only english and spanish subs for this game (nice for french canadians

They added spanish language to latino americans which use the US machines, for french and other you'll have to wait the PAL version. But it's not worth buying the game for the dvd1 only, if you have played MGS3 and cannot go online, just forget this game.

is it worth buying for the extra shit? as i love the hell out of this game....
