now how do you unlock characters?

Just beat the game in the story mode (2nd option in the main menu)
there are 3 campaigns , beat them all and you should unlock most of the chars, thoug i didnt unlocked all of them yet hehe iam still missing 6 chars

ok all im missing is kick hopper,dark kabuto,hayper kabuto and the rumor of hyper stag beattle in the game so how do i get these?

Iam not really sure since i wasnt able to play today
but i've read somewhere that you have to beat story mode without using continues
to unlock hyper gattack/kabuto and the others
