hopefully you made a back up iso for jak.. unpatched.
im not sure what ur problem is exactly.
maybe u have a bad iso? or patched it wrong.

if u be more specific... maybe ppl can help.

for me when i patched it..
it still froze at the beginning of the intro movie,
but you can still hear the sounds.

to fix the problem i had i simply put it on mode 3.
    and mode 3 only.

for you, if you cant figure out.
best thing to do would be to start over.

i recommend getting ur original jak disc,
'transferring it to the hd thru the ps2.
    transfer frum ps2 to pc.
apply the patch... (and make a back up of course)
and transfer it back into the ps2.
dont forget to turn on mode 3.

i dunno what ur problem is?
    but you should start over...

i noe that sucks, but yea... better than waiting.

Maybe try manually extracting and hexediting the patch spot yourself next time, as outlined in the jak3 thread. This is how I did it and it worked for me. I recommend winimage. You have to enable this option first but it will allow you to extract and then re-inject a file back into an image, replacing the original, without having to rebuild the entire ISO. Handy for stuff like this.

do i have to select the mode 1to3 when transfering the game iso from my pc to the ps2 hard drive or i can select the mode later from the hdadvance discs prior to playing the game..
