HDD LAN playable games list
HDD LAN playable games list –
There are 3 ways to play games between different PS2s
- iLink ( FireWire cable ) only works on PS2v1-v5
- Central Station ( Ethernet ) requires DNAS
- LAN ( Ethernet ) requires competitors to have port open on LAN
1 = LANable, 0 = no such option or does not work with HDLoader
- [?]ATV Offroad Fury 2
- ATV offroad Fury 3
- [?]Colin McRae 2005
- [?]WRC 4
- [?]Star Wars Battlefront 1 (shrunk)
- [?]Star Wars Battlefront 2 (shrunk)
- [?]Gran Tourismo 4
- [?]Timesplitters 2
- [?]Timesplitters 3

LAN compat. –
I can confirm "Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2 (both shrunken), ATV offroad Fury 3, Gran Tourismo 4, and Timesplitters 2 & 3" all work from HD's. I've five units and tv's set up and use them all the time.

LAN is not same as online...
dmdarkmagic is just staitin that MC2 can be played online while installed on the HDD just like how ATV Offroad fury 2 can also... As for other LAN games couldent tell ya.. There was a list a while back that had about 40 or so games that where LAN compatable but I cant recall where the link is..
Has any one tried Time Crisis 2 & 3? I would really like to run these games in link mode with two TVs from the HDD.
For LAN do you need the DNAS ID also?
unmodded v10 PS2 NTSC
120 GB Maxtor Hardrive
HDL exploit (Key Launcher)
PS1 game: Twisted Metal 3
PS2 remote ( w/ reset button )
Depending on if you set a default gateway I assume...
I'm not even able to find the network option in ATV Offroad Fury 3 :-(
Perhaps it is stripped off in the PAL version?
DNAS not needed for playing challenge mode -> LAN PLAY in Colin McRae 2005
Edit: And I have found that if you make rules in your router for your friends externalIP:port to be forwarded from your LAN, you will be able to play LAN games against friends with internet access :-)
